Desktop switcher has ugly, gray frame

Bug Description
Desktop switcher draws ugly, gray frame arround desktop previews. Moreover, desktop previews don't "fit" leaving strange, gray space between them. Also, orange glow hilighting selected display isn't set. See attached screenshot for details.
