gnome-panel does not obey icon theme

Bug Description

on 3.5.91, gnome-panel is displaying ambiance/humanity status icons, even though the icon theme is set to Adwaita.

Atleast in precise these icons used to (I havent checked recently) display correctly as symbolic icons.

Oops I got confused with the ubuntu classic theme (sorry, I don't normally use gnome classic). Closing as invalid
