[apport] evince crashed with SIGSEGV in g_utf8_validate()

I installed a minimal ubuntu feisty command-line system, followed by installing xubunutu-desktop. When all is done, double clicking on a pdf file on desktop caused the viewer to crash and prompted this bug report.

Works fine in evince. I reinstall evince-gtk again and it still doesn't work.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? If this bug is still valid, please provide the version of Ubuntu you are using and the version of evince-gtk. Could a developer take a look at this. It was reported against Feisty, v 7.04. I can not duplicate it, and have not received any response from the reporter in 60 days.

Can this be closed as invalid with 7.04 going into End Of Life this October 2008?
