Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat reached EOL on April 10, 2012.
See this document for currently supported Ubuntu releases: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases

If there is a bug here it may already have been fixed in a later release but that change won't affect the version of Ubuntu you're using.
