auctex installs emacs23 even when emacs24 is installed

i have emacs24 installed. if i install the auctex-package, it installs emacs23 alongside and, unfortunately, installs the scripts in /usr/share/emacs23/site-lisp, instead of /usr/share/emacs/site-lisp

sudo apt-get install auctex emacs24

sorry - just saw that i have emacs24-nox installed and not emacs24 ;)
so here is the "correct" output
