Bug Description
I added the fglrx in the list of additional hardware and it activated fine (downloaded and installed) (with its own quirks, thats another story though)
I had an option to add fglrx post release updates and when finished it says it failed and to check /var/log/jockey
In that log I have no idea how to interpret the data or what to do next so I clicked on the pop up that said send bug report. I am a computer Science major half way through my undergrad. I have decent knowledge about coding and want to contribute to ubuntu one day but I have no idea how to start.
I am on Precise Pangolin
I expected my asus 1225b to have a working graphics driver that allowed me to easily use the HDMI and not have issues with the sound through HDMI and have the brightness setting to be saved to my preference.
What happened is the Post release updates package wont install which I assume has the fix for the issues I have been experiencing.
