USB disk drive now auto-mounting as noexec

Bug Description

I have two Hitachi disk drives:

60GB HTS541260H9AT00
160GB HTS541616J9AT00

Each is mounted in an ICY BOX enclosure with a USB 2.0 interface.

In all prior Ubuntu releases, these devices auto-mounted with "exec" enabled.

With Feisty, they mount "noexec" and you are thus prevented from executing software stored on those drives.

I too have seen this behavior with hal version 0.5.8.1-4ubuntu12.

Even if one checks 'Autorun-programs on new drives and media' in the "Removable Drives and Media Preferences" dialog, media is mounted with the noexec flag removing the ability to execute anything on the media.
