uncomment #net and #hpaio

Hello,

after installing for printer M1212nf the drivers xsane told me no devices found. The solution was to uncomment #net and #hpaio. Not a big deal once you know it.... So either can the tool do this? (maybe even after a confirmation if some people won't want it, though I don't know a reason). Or if the tool hp-setup cannot do it, can the tool display a simple text file with "manual post installation" steps? Telling the user that they "might consider" this step is extremly helpful. If there are advanced user who don't want that for whatever reason they don't have to do it.

Hi Willi,

We have not seen any issues of like this in our testing with M1212nf device. If you let us know which operating system you are using we shall have a look at it.

Also can you please try install the latest hplip-3.12.9 driver downloadable at http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/gethplip.html and check if you are able to reproduce the issue.

running openSuse 12.2. The new hplip shows the same behavior.

Thank you for the suggestion.

if you run hp-check command, this will intimate the regarding "hpaio" entry missing.
We will look into on adding "net" keyword in this command.
