Kubuntu 10.04 to 12.04 upgrade fails

Bug Description

After upgrading Kubuntu from 10.04 to 12.04 my computer did not boot anymore.

- reinstalling GRUB did not solve the problem.
- a fresh install (in dualboot) of Kubuntu 10.04 works. The "upgraded-from-10.04" system still fails. Current Boot-Info: http://pastebin.ubuntu.com/1195049 (sda1 is the fresh install, sda6 is the broken "upgraded-from-10.04" one).
