Ubuntu Human theme doesn't support color customization

Select System->Preferences->Theme->Customize->Colors (assuming your theme is already Human). You'll see this:

""The current controls theme does not support color schemes."

It'd be nice to have an end to people making dozens of variations of the human theme just to change the color. Wishlist item :)

As it is impossible to create a "theme-able theme" which looks exactly like the current theme I think we should wait on this for feisty+1

Out of curiosity, why is that? I'm not sure what you mean. Does the Human theme do something hackish?

I think it has more to do with the XML stanzas that apply to recolourization (wow what a word.)

It would require whoever wrote the new GUI theme colour code to verbosely communicate exactly how something needs to be phrased in the XML file in order to successfully grab onto the dynamic colour scheming.

I can't imagine that it can't be done relatively easily, assuming one knows all of the relevant details.

This can be worked around by selecing say the Glossy theme which is similar enough and changing the icons, window border and colors. Looks close enough.

The Human theme is now color chooser compatible.
