Bug Description
Hello,
I installed the "Log Out" plugin. It works fine for stopping the machine.
But the "hibernate" and "suspend" buttons are greyed out (cf. screenshot). These features work fine with kde on the same machine, so I am assuming that the problem does not come from my machine, any failing driver which would not be installed, or what else.
Reproduction Method:
- install "Log Out" plugin
- Click on the icon: hibernation and suspend to ram button are greyed out.
- Click on the "lock screen" button, nothing happens.
Cairo-dock is from the bazaar repository version (revno 1206 from the 09/09).
Current Window Manager: openbox 3.5.0
Distribution: Mageia 2 - 64 bits

Hi,
as we can see form the traces:
capabilities: 0; 0; 1; 1; 0
the first 2 numbers are for suspend and hibernate.
So, either the doc was not compiled with upower support, or the system is not configured to authorize suspend/hibernate (which is done through policykit)
How did you install the dock and plug-ins ? if you compiled them, you can easily check the first point.
As for the screen lock, what if you try with "cairo-dock -e xfce" ? the script used to lock the screen is /usr/share/ cairo-dock/ plug-ins/ shared- files/scripts/ lock-screen. sh, and it just asks the screensaver to lock the screen.
