XUL Comboboxes won't open

Bug Description
Go to Edit > Preferences and click on a combobox. It doesn't open (but I can still change the value using the arrow keys).
Disable Ubuntu Firefox Modifications (my version: 2.1.1) and restart Firefox.
Go to Preferences again and all comboboxes open normally.
HTML comboboxes are unaffected.
