Many Media player device errors when syncing with Galaxy Nexus

Bug Description
I selected a playlist to be synced with the Galaxy Nexus. When it started syncing, an error would pop up for each file:
LIBMTP_
This results in an annoying situation where there are thousands of error popups.

There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version.
