Bug Description

On a brand new install of the 12.10 beta on an Acer Aspire 7741G (model MS2309) with ATI Mobility Radeon 5470.

Install Ubuntu 12.10 beta
Login

The graphics will glitch and then pause for a couple of seconds, before logging you in and all being fine.

This bug does not seem to cause any other issue other than being pretty ugly during login.

The bug also occurs on an Acer Aspire 5551-A (model NEW75) with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250.

Not sure what more information I can provide to help with this bug.
