preference section of slidewall in no accessible from menu

Bug Description
Have installed, removed and reinstalled this program multiples time. System allows me to set my preferences and load pictures initially but after I close Slidewall and want to change my preferences at a later time the preference menu is no longer available.
Ubuntu 12.04-64 bit arch
AMD quad core with ASUS M4A89GTD Pro/usb3 motherboard
Outside of that this is a great program.

This affects me also. Clicking the indicator icon > "View SlideWall" no longer brings up the preferences menu so I can't change any settings or add/remove pictures.
