Bug Description

when you press the full screen button the video is displayed as if meant to be stretched over both screens. See attached screenshot.
Since the browser is maximized on my primary screen, I would also like to see youtube go fullscreen only on my primary window

Actually, compiz is designed to only full-screen on one monitor at a time.

affects: unity → compiz
summary: - youtube fails to go fullscreen when using twin screen
+ Fullscreen windows should occupy all monitors

I think this is probably the same issue(s) as bug 751605. If you find that fix does not work, please remove the duplicate link.

I was testing flash fullscreen'ing with multiple monitors yesterday with the latest code (including the fix for bug 751605) and it always seemed to use the correct monitor.

Could you point me to some steps on how to install that specific compiz revision? I would like to try it out.
I have some experience with bazaar, but since this is my production system I don't like to mess it up.

Gerhard,

The only option for testing the fix in the near future will be probably the live CD of Ubuntu 13.04 which will include compiz 0.9.9*. But even then it would be difficult given Flash is not installed in the live session. You would have to add it.

After the fix has had some testing on 13.04, we will backport it to 12.10 and 12.04.
