Bug Description

With org-mode version 6.33 the org-set-effort works and the file is looking good,
But after installing the org-mode package, this file looks corrupted, indentations and text are not correct, and when try control-c control-x e, to set the effort for a task, emacs hangs, I have to kill it from the command line.

When I removed the following lines from the file, the problem went away:
#+STARTUP: indent
#+TODO: TODO PENDING NEXT NOW STEPS-TAKEN-AWAITING-RESOLUTION | DONE(!) WAIT-FOR-NEXT-TIME(!) WAIT-UNTIL-TOMORROW (!\
) WAIT-FOR-NEXT-WEEK (!) FAILED (@/!)
