Bug Description

LTSP defaults to using 16bit graphic to reduce the required bandwidth when running a desktop environment over the network.

Users are used to seeing slightly wrong colors and imperfect gradients, but currently running unity over llvmpipe, we're getting a completely unusable desktop.

I'm attaching a screenshot of a VM booting LTSP and opening a unity session on an X server configured to use 16bit mode.

I tried with a 16bit thin client on 14.04 and it worked fine, both with the Unity and the gnome-flashback session, so marking the bug as fix released.
