Bug Description

I am using Kubuntu 12.04.1 on a Samsung N220 netbook with KDE netbook.
I am using it in German so I have to translate my words here.
I don't know if the correct word is desktop or workspace in the english version.

The bug-report ist about this dialog:
System-Settings/behaviour of the workspace/virtual workspace

There is a checkbox:
different miniprograms for each workspace

With activated netbook it is disabled and deactived. This is the bug!

Because of that it is not possible to set different background images for the virtual desktops/workspaces. This is extremly needfull because you have to identify your desktops by the background!

I tested it with the KDE-desktop. There you can activate this checkbox and it work. If you uncheck it there is the same behaviour on the desktop.

So you need to make it possible to activate this checkbox on the netbook.

Hi there!

Thanks for reporting this bug! Your bug seems to be a problem with the KDE program itself, and not with our KDE packages. While we appreciate your issue, it would be better if it was tracked at https://bugs.kde.org, so that the KDE developers can deal with this speedily and have direct communication with you as the reporter for more effective debugging.

Thanks!
