If you can, please reproduce this by running f-spot at the commandline & paste the output in a comment. Mono tracebacks that apport captures aren't terribly useful at the moment.

It was my sister's computer and she doesn't need f-spot, so it's not a problem for her. But I'll try to get a new strace if the problem is still there. But I don't know when I'll be there next time..
