NPR Docklet won't find a station

I am using Ubuntu 12.04
Gnome desktop version 3.4.1
Docky 2.1.4.
Toshiba Satellite laptop with an ATI RC410 Radeon Xpress 200M Graphics Card & an Intel Celeron processor.

The NPR docklet is installed, along with others. Sometimes the NPR icon goes away and there is a blue circle with a question mark instead. I restart, and the NPR icon comes back, but even if the NPR icon there I cannot search a location. I type in my zip code, hit "search", and nothing happens. No spinning circles, just nothing. I have even tried multiple zip codes. If I type my zip code into the NPR website several stations pop up, and I am able to stream via the NPR site just fine, and I have no internet connectivity issues that I am aware of.
While creating this bug report I clicked on the NPR icon to search for stations again. Docky froze, then crashed. The terminal window was open when this occurred (I don't know how relevant that is). I relaunched Docky, and it took a while but it relaunched with all my icons intact, including the NPR icon, but I am still unable to search for a station. All of the other Docky icons launch the intended app; however, I had the weather docklet installed and the icon remained a question mark and it was always zero degrees. I have since uninstalled that docklet, hoping to minimize the variables to get NPR working.

I am trying to follow the bug reporting guidelines below, and this is what occured in the terminal while Docky was running:

This relaunched Docky ( I didn't know that would happen), but the NPR issue persists. If the crash is relevant, can you lead me in the direction of how to do a stack trace? I am a very beginner. Thanks for everything.
