Release candidate version of libusb-1.0 doesn't seem to be good for Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

Bug Description

As seen here: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libusb-1.0
Ubuntu Precise 12.04 LTS repository provides a strange RC version of libusb-1.0 source package (published on 2012-04-19): 2:1.0.9~rc3-2ubuntu1

Meanwhile, the latest version on the official site: http://www.libusb.org/
is 1.0.9 (released on 2012-04-20).
Unfortunately, it was missed for Ubuntu 12.04 LTS release.

BTW, Ubuntu Quantal (12.10, development version) isn't affected, 'cause it has switched from libusb to libusbx:

the library got updated since in newer series and is not going to change in 12.04 now, closing the bug as resolved
