Bug Description

This looks like its a duplicate of many including https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/806118 which had a fix released but might want to keep this open because its quantal alpha 3. Debug symbols should be included in my logs.

I am not sure why/how this happened, I was playing my Wii when system update notifier appeared on my screen and right after that is when the crash happened.

I'll attach valgrind.log for empathy-chat with this.

No I cannot, at least not intentionally. It happened one other time shortly after Like I mentioned my system was idol while I was pre occupied with other things.

It looks like there was an update to glib2 since then (which may or may not had anything to do with it) and that has not happened since. I do check for updates every breakfast lunch and dinner. Always up to date :)

However since then I have had other authorization issues affecting empathy and the desktop as I described in this report I just filed
