SML built improperly

Binary package hint: smlnj

Running CM.make "sources.cm" yeilds cryptic error message complain that a file in /build/buildd is missing. Links to /build/buildd should not end up in packages. Example:

Installing libsmlnj-smlnj fixes the problem. This seems like some sort of implied dependency.

I also have this problem.

I tried with that libsmlnj, and it didn't work (I even tried the other available packages, and neither worked).

I'll just have to go to the smlnj web and try from there.

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 beta?
