Bug Description

Steps to reproduce:
1. Mount a USB or external hard drive.
2. Delete few files in the usb drive.
3. Eject the USB using Nautilus.
4. Repeat the same procedure from step 1 using the Unity Launcher.

What happens:
1. When ejected by right-clicking on the icon in Nautilus, shows a warning to empty the trash before unmounting the drive.
2. Doing so using the Unity Launcher does not show this warning

What should happen:
The Unity Launcher should also display the message asking if the trash

Screenshot attached displaying the message which is normally shown.

-- Original Description --

In 12.04, from my experience, "ejecting" a USB stick by right-clicking on the launcher icon doesn't offer to empty the trash. Ejecting by right-clicking on the icon in Nautilus DOES, which is a nice feature. As this feature is lost, I wonder what the difference is with "Safely remove", I used to think this was the difference.

I have Lubuntu 12.04. I added Nautilus, so that I could have it show dates for photos under the thumbnails.
When I copy photos from my USB-attached camera, I send them to trash when I am satisfied the copy was successful.
When I had regular Ubuntu(various versions prior to 12.04) and clicked on "Eject" or "Safely remove drive", or whatever, I was asked whether or not I wished to empty the trash or not.
When I do the same with Lubuntu, I am not asked. I have repeatedly attached/removed the camera and tried all sorts of different ways of "eject"ing the camera, but without being asked about the trash.
I have to separately "select all" files in the two Trash sub-directories and click shift-del (and confirm that I wish to permanently delete the files).
Why is Nautilus not asking me if I want to empty the trash?

Never mind. I re-filed this under Nautilus, since that reflects my situation better, and I was not using Unity anyway.
