Topic name says it all, I am surprised it has been missing the whole time. Can it be done next release?

I second this, and this is something that is possibly relatively easy to change, considering that there is already code for changing units to the appropriate faction colors.

A fix has been added to the trunk, but it changes the unit's colour to the player's colour, rather than the owner's colour.
