Bug Description
This occurred in 1.11.0 beta2 pre r3314.
I was using AutoDJ in the background while browsing internet, Mixxx stopped; I saw a "fatal error" label on the tab in the taskbar, minimized the browser but the Mixxx notification window vanished before it could show me anything. Mixxx and ASIO then vanished from the tray. I run TrayIt! on this desktop and Mixx was minimized in the tray at the time of the crash.
Running XPSP3 on a 3.20 ghz desktop with 1gb of RAM, a creative soundblaster card, and a 1gb ATI Radeon video card.
Attached is the log file from immediately after the crash without having restarted Mixxx.

We now (hopefully) gracefully handle these error cases instead of Q_ASSERTing.
