Ubuntu Feisty Fawn.

Errormessage: Could not install the upgrades

The upgrade aborts now. Your system could be in an unusable state. A recovery was run (dpkg --configure -a).

I too found myself in situations like this. I think it's because the mirrors. When I was using the romanian mirrors as repos, it happened very often. It's very frustrating as you have to manually fix the problem every time this happens.
How about first synching the packages, and only after that the list in case of the foreign mirrors?

@Johny Levai: what do you do to manually fix the problem? I have seen this problem recently in some bugreport but currently I don't know where it comes from so every help in debugging this issue is very welcome. If it happens for you, what does your sources.list look like and what does usually happens before you get the error? some sort of network issue or anything like this?

When I said manually fixing, I ment: dpkg --configure -a
If installs some of the packages. Then I had to try later when the other packages were available in the repos. I was using the standard source.list of feisty, the one he installed, but as I selected my timezone in the installer, it automatically selected the romanian mirror. When I changed Romania in Adept Manager to USA, it used the us mirrors from then, and no hickups.
