Bug Description
My Ubuntu 12.10 alpha 3 VM is pretty much unusable running in virtualbox (4.2rc1) using compiz/llvmpipe (Unity2D used to run fine). The screen flickers, parts of windows randomly disappear, all of or parts of minimized windows stay visible but cannot be accessed, minimized windows cannot be restored, etc. The virtualbox guest additions don't install correctly, so I can't try 3d mode.
