Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox

hello,

going into my gmx-mail-account ( cokkies not allowed or even explicitly allowed ) it is possible after correkt logout to see my account by simply clicking backspace button. ( Happens also in MAC-OS-X.10.3.9 with Firefox, not for instance with iCab ) . (( Extension Fasterfox -2.00 was without caching backsteps and was tested deactivated ))

Sincerely Peter

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.

Hopefully gmx-mail is free. If it is i will create an account and see if
i can reproduce this bug.
Can you please list the exact steps you take to reproduce this bug as
well as version of firefox being tested on?
Can you also disable all firefox extensions and test if it is
reproducible if it is not please add back extensions one at a time until
you can reproduce it.

Ok i set up a test account and i did get a warning:

     * We have detected that you are using Firefox, version 3.0.
     * For optimal performance of GMX we recommend that you
       download the latest browser version.
     * Technical Requirements

I will see what they would prefer but maybe this is why you are having
issues, but since this bug lacks a test case there isnt much more i can
do at this time.

In Firefox-3.0 backspace doesnt reopen mail page but since the email
opens in another window with no tool bars (sort-of like prism attached a
screenshot of the page but backspace key does nothing at tall here.

complain with the website provider not with us. You can also use Help
-> Report a Broken Web Site, but better contact the gmx folks
