Rhythmbox DAAP Server doesn't work with iTunes 9.2.1 for PPC as client

Using Rhythmbox 2.96 as a DAAP server with iTunes 9.2.1 for PPC (on OSX 10.4) doesn't work:
The share-name is shown in iTunes, but selecting it doesn't establish a connection: no "mount" symbol, no display of shared song.
(using rhythmbox as a client works.)

It can't at least be only an iTunes problem, as Tangerine as a Server + the exact same iTunes as a client works without any problems.

(And this particular version of iTunes is important, as it is the most reason version for the Power PC (PPC) architecture on OSX 10.4.)

There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running apport-collect <bug #> and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
