Bug Description

In 12.04 (freshly installed August 14th, 2012, with all current updates), pressing Win+W by default calls the Compiz plugin "Scale".

Expected behaviour: upon pressing Win+W (<super>W), all windows from all workspaces should be resized and appear on the screen, so that the user might select the one she wants to focus.

Actual behaviour: The behaviour on my system is erratic. One of the two following occurs:

1) only windows from the current workspace are resized and shown for selection. However, the plugin option calls for "all windows" (including these on other workspaces)

2) the screen flickers violently for several seconds. Windows at various scales are shown for brief moments. In that case, one of the two following might occur:

- 2a: compiz crashes
- 2b: compiz resolves the problem and returns as if no button has been pressed.

Description: Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS
Release: 12.04

compiz: 0.9.7.8-0ubuntu1.2
(also affects 0.9.7.8-0ubuntu1vvpreproposed2, which I use due to the bug #862430).
