Bug Description
LM10 64 bit Mintbackup freezes when it's apparently compiling a list of software installed in the "Backup software selection".
Hardware is HP Laptop, dualbooting with winxp. I run the 32 bit version on another laptop (an antique dell circa 2000) and it's able to compile the list of software added in under 30 seconds.
It doesn't matter if I run it from a command prompt ("sudo mintbackup") or from the mint menu.
I've left it with it's greyed out screen overnight, thinking that maybe it needs a little time. No such luck, it just locks up. I ran a command that I found regarding piped files and it returned nothing.
I intend to upgrade to LM13, but don't want to spend hours reinstalling software, so this is kind of a big deal.
I'm running Wine and have MS office 2007 installed, and a few other Windowsy programs.
BTW, what backup software isn't capable of backing up to a network drive? What's up with that?
