Bug Description
It's worth trying to use the blank ariya version (used for Plymouth) for the default 12.10 lightdm theme. Primary concern is that it may look too dull.
-------
this is not a bug and I'm sorry for that. It's just that I can't find the proper venue to popose this wish.
Since we have the custom "Kubuntu" kspalsh theme that integrates perfectly with the plymouth one
it could be a great quality touch to set it as default into kubuntu-
Other nice changes to apport:
rewrite it in qml
set lightdm-kde-greeter background to be the same as the plymouth/kspalsh one (important!)
set it as the desktop wallpaper too (also good to give to quantal a distinctive look)
set it as the background of grub2 too
thanks,
alex

> rewrite it in qml
apport is not being developed right now
> set lightdm-kde-greeter background to be the same as the plymouth/kspalsh one (important!)
should be thought about
> set it as the desktop wallpaper too (also good to give to quantal a distinctive look)
no. the desktop wallpaper is already the same except it has stripes to add drama which is important from an artistical point of view.
> set it as the background of grub2 too
no. it makes startup as a whole entirely slower for all operating systems one may own and start via grub.
