Please report this VID/PID and the device model to the libmtp development team

Although I got this error, with the same VID and PID, my smartphone is an LG-610. It has been recently added to libmtp. See http://sourceforge.net/p/libmtp/code/ci/9cf4598b786dbdbab0b812aa9332ffe69cef6ba1/

This happened because someone filled a bug:
http://dev.sf.net/p/libmtp/bugs/662/

I downloaded the trunk and was able to connect my phone.
If getting the latest version doesn't help, you could do exactly as instructed:

"report this VID/PID and the device model to the libmtp development team"
