Can't drag & drop if destination is an expanded empty folder in list view

Bug Description
I have 2 Files windows open (Downloads, and some school folder). Inside my school folder there are folders for each subject, but some of them are empty. I decided to expand them all to know which files I still need to download. After the download, I try to drag & drop from the Downloads window to the school folder window. When hovering the dragged file over an empty, expanded folder, Files crashes.
This only happens when the folder is expanded, but I don't know if it must be empty.

Apparently, the folder needs to be empty in order to trigger the bug.
