Bug Description
Week 32: Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal (Radeon GPU) with ppa:unity-
Launcher does not show an icon for a newly opened applcation. For example: Open a gedit application, check for a gedit icon on launcher. There is no gedit icon on launcher.
See screenshot - this shows an open gedit application window but no gedit icon is seen on launcher.

Sometimes after a delay of couple of minutes after closing an application, icons with no image (shows a question mark on the icon) is shown on the launcher as shown in this screenshot.
