Bug Description

Using the "Verify local data" on a downloading torrent in Transmission 2.51(13280), causes massive data loss in download progress. I'm currently on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.

I used the Verify local data option because the download kept stopping saying it needed to verify local data. So I did that, and I went from 80% progress to about 16% progess on a download totalling about 80GB. I just thought that if I verified it, that it wouldn't get stopped anymore. But I have been downloading since, and haven't had it stop in about a half hour yet. I never had this problem before, that I can remember, even on large downloads.
