Bug Description

I am running OCS Server 2.0.5 on Windows.

I created three packages: (1-packages.jpg)
1.) Microsoft Office 2003
2.) Microsoft Office 2003 ServicePack3
3.) Microsoft office 2003 Compatibility Pack

I created a dynamic group with this search (various_searc2-h.jpg):
HAVING package MICROSOFT OFFICE 2003 in state ALL THE SUCCESS
AND NOT HAVING package MICROSOFT OFFICE 2003 SERVICEPACK3 in state ALL THE SUCCESS
The intention is that the SP3 should only be deployed when the client has the Office 2003 package in success. If there is no Office 2003 package deployed or no success the SP3 package will not be deployed.

The dynamic group looks like this: (3-Dynamicgroup1.jpg)
But in this group there are all client which I have in database. And all these clients do not have the MICROSOFT OFFICE 2003 package - but they are included in the dynamic group.

And if I go to the detailed page of a client I got this: (4-Client.jpg)

BUT: The package will not be deployed. So the function in the background seems to work. The SP3 will not be deployed because the clients do not have OFFICE 2003 package. But why are they put into the dynamic group?

An Update on this bug. This seems just to be a cosmetic thing.

If one client suits the dynamic group then the computerlist for this dynamic group is ok.
So if no host is affected by this group, the group lists all inventoried hosts but does not deploy anything.
If one or ore hosts are affected by a dynamic group then there is only this host in the group and no other hosts.

Hmm, not sure what I did but I cannot replicate this "bug".

Changed in ocsinventory-windows-server:
