Bug Description
Binary package hint: kmail
If you have an IMAP account, and you put your machine into suspend, when you resume kmail will immediately try to check for new mail, however the network probably hasn't come online by this time, and so it just gets confused, often requiring a restart of kmail to make it behave normally (the most general symptom is that the progress bar sticks at 98%). Note that if you use disconnected IMAP, it is better. You can usually abort the attempted connection and start a new one, and it'll be fine.
It should probably detect the network state and switch into online/offline mode accordingly.
