Bug Description
The purpose of the test:
* Make sure the LibreOffice suite is working properly at ARM
The target platform (currently Android or Ubuntu):
* Ubuntu
The proposed steps for performing the test:
* Install the libreoffice package: $ sudo apt-get install libreoffice
* Open both Writer and Calc, making sure they are functional (able to write something, save and close successfully)
* Open Impress using the presentation available at http://
- Go to presentation mode by pressing F9
- Go through the slides, checking if the performance is reasonable enough to be used in a real presentation
Any hardware requirements:
* Board with enough power to have Ubuntu Desktop running
Setup steps, if anything above a normal install is needed
* None
Approximate time it takes to run the test
* Install will download around 120MB, which will depend on the connection used
* After installed, 20 minutes
Whether or not the test should be considered for release critical testing
* No, not critical (can be covered at least one a month)
There is no LibreOffice in engineering builds. I'm closing the bug. Please comment if you feel it is still important.
