Bug Description

Switching between workspaces is clumsy if the launcher is full, because the workspace switcher button becomes buried under a stack of launcher icons. A better location for the workspace switcher button could be right below the dash/Ubuntu button, or at least its location should be configurable.

Hi - Bug 761155 is the request to move launcher items, like the workspace switcher. Bug 868423 is a discussion about changing the workspace switcher. I couldn't find any bugs specifically proposing a higher default position for it.

Can we make this bug a duplicate of one of those?

Thanks!
