Bug Description

Since updating from 13 to 14, Firefox has been crashing randomly. I can not detect a pattern at all.
In one case I had loaded profile three, and then clicked to the search bar, and started typing, before it crashed. In the case before that, same profile, I had loaded up three or four pages, and then it crashed.

This has happened on three different profiles, with three different sets of addons and settings. (Profile numbers here, don't match attachment numbers...)
Profile one has multiple addons installed, including NoScript, RequestPolicy, Brief (RSS reader), WebDeveloper Toolbar, Status-4-Evar and others.
Profile two has few addons, NoScript, Zotero, Status-4-Evar, and a couple of others.
Profile three has no addons, and all plugins are disabled, and is configured to start in Private Browsing mode by default.

I do radically different browsing in the three profiles, and so the types of website are radically different.

Each time it crashes, the Mozilla Crash Detector starts up, and I have generally been reporting the crashes.

i can't (obviously) comment for other people, but I may have discovered the cause of my problems.
It turns out that many of my problems recently were probably caused by a ram stick gone bad. So, I checked my ram only a couple of months ago (to rule it out as the cause for another problem). Then I started having problems with Ubuntu freezing up all together (like even ignoring the magic sysr

And I accidentally submitted the comment without finishing it.

Anyway, so with Ubuntu playing up generally, I checked my ram again, found that the 2GB stick (two sticks, one 2GB and one 512MB) was bad. I removed it, and the other problems stopped. I just thought today that Firefox had also stopped crashing as well. It maybe related. (Funny that it was only ever Firefox or the entire system that had a problem, and that none of my other individual programs (including Evolution, Rhythmbox, Abiword or LibreOffice) had a problem.)

Anyway, so maybe the cause of my problems was bad ram. I'll leave it open as it affects others though. And I'll comment again if Firefox does crash randomly again.
