xorg keymap doesn't work with some applications

Bug Description
I have recently installed xorg packages and now some programs doesn't recognize
keyboard mapping.
I'm using the italian keyboard and this works fine in programs such
mozilla-firefox or xterm, but
with other programs like openoffice.org suite don't. They recognize all keys but
àèéìòùç°§.
