You can't set a default spelling language for the document and new nodes do not assume selected spelling language

Bug Description

I create a new kabikaboo document and it starts in Elglish (my default system language).

There's nowhere in the preferences where I can say that document will be manly in Portuguese so I select a node and open context menu, setting the language to Portuguese. The spelling starts to work right for Portuguese.

I create a new node (doesn't matter where, it may even be under a node already set to Portuguese) and the language will always be reset to English what can be a real pain in the ass since I may have a lot of nodes and need to change spelling all the time. It's quite normal to have documents not in the default Linux main language.

What makes sense here is Kabikaboo to respect the parent node's language when creating new languages or a way to set a default language for the document that, by default, it would be the same as the system (but the user could change as a whole).

Thanks for the report Eduardo!

I am not very familiar with using other languages, but I will see what I can do to fix it.
Are you using the repository version of Kabikaboo, or the release version?

Changed in kabikaboo:

I didn't know Kabikaboo before. I just bumped into it from Ubuntu 12.04 repositories and just fell in love with it, by the way.

In any case, I'm just talking about spelling. It works (from user point of view) very much alike Chrome or Firefox spelling. In the browser you select a text area, open context menu, and select the language you want to spell for that object. From there the browser will assume that selected language for spelling all the pages.

Kabikaboo works just like that, except when you select the language to spell, it only assumes it for the current node.
