Binary package hint: xserver-xgl

was running blender 2.43 and pressed F12 to render (had been using blender for about an hour, rendered many times); this time, the whole x-session died and I was sent back to re-login to my system.

I had same problem with blender (and other apps, like firefox);
Ubuntu 8.04 amd64, nvidia 8600gt, nvidia's binary driver; Gnome

xserver-xgl has been deprecated upstream, and removed from Intrepid. Closing the bug as won't fix.
