I wrote in bug 1029442 :

"
The unity-panel crashed on typing in "blender" fast after open up the panel.

I was using a flash player in firefox and have just closed the program blender.
I immediatelly opened up the dash-panel and typed in blender(for reopening).

The crash happends during typing.

I have unfortunally no reproducing procedure, which works for hitting this.

The modification was that I used unity-dash for searching of "bo..."

the crash happends right after typing in the b.

Also this is not a valid reproducing procedure.
