Bug Description

Ubuntu release: 7.04 beta (image downloaded 3/Apr/2007)

Mouse movements are extremely slow on Gnome when using either Desktop CD or installed Feisty Fawn beta system. Even when both acceleration and speed are set to maximum on System/Preferences/Mouse/Motion moving mouse from top left corner to bottom right corner of the screen requires user to slide his/her finger over internal touchpad of Macbook over 12 times (and I mean full range of touchpad not some minor movements of the finger).
