Save a Backup on save

Bug Description
I would like to save a backup file every time I save inkscape. In the inkscape preferences > Save I(or backup) would like to see an option to save a backup file in a folder that I choose. this way if anything where to happen to the file or file location there would be a backup of all work done. there could also be an option to save a back up after so long.
