Hi Simon,

please provide an example file which for sure causes the crash.

Please give a step by step description like pushing this button, choosing that, waiting for, and so on). Give a good algorithmic description, that is complete and can guide a beginner in gtkpod to the point where the problem happends.

(step1,
 step2,
.
.
.
finished)

Both is essential.

After that set the status of this report back to new.

Thanks

in each case it doesnt allow me to reinstall gtkpod...

ps. itried to remember by heart what exactly i did and i think its like this. i think on wikipedia i read that the gtkpod can enable sync for iphone4 only if the latter is jailbraked... i wanted to put some personal pictures on my iphone4 (original, not updated, cannot update coz i have linux so dont have itunes, doesnt allow me to update any other way) which is NOT jailbraked - it is as it was the first day i bought it. . I picked the pictures and also some personal mp3 (my music) which i have stored in my external hard drive which is connected by router to the computer via ethernet cable... maybe i should copy them to local disk, because when i choose them it took him around 10min to load all of them in new playlist...anyway...when i tried to find a way to copy it to iphone (i think i pressed the sync button) the gtkpod crashed. but dr. konqi didnt come... it w...
